Trimester 1 Math Power Standards/I can Statements

- I can read and write multi-digit whole numbers using numerals, number names, and expanded form (up to 1,000,000).
- I can multiply four-digit number by a one-digit number and two-digit numbers and explain my reasoning. (equations, area model, arrays, etc.)

### Trimester 2 Reading & Math Standards

#### Reading:

- I can determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text.
- I can demonstrates understanding of figurative language, word relationships, and nuances in word meanings.

Math:

- I can divide four-digit numbers by one-digit numbers to find a whole number quotient with/without remainders and explain my reasoning.
- I can explain using models that two fractions can be equal due to different sizes and/or numbers of parts of the whole.
- I can multiply a four-digit number by a one-digit number and two two-digit numbers and explain my reasoning.
